Working family funding (30 hours)
Funded hours will be stretched over 48 weeks @ 23.75 hours per week.*
Term-time only contracts are available to parents or carers working in a term-time only positions (such as teachers).
Minimum contract of 24 hours per week.

Universal 3-4 year funding & Early Learning funding for 2 year old’s (15 hours)
You can elect to pay extra to enable your child to attend for 48 weeks or use the funding term-time only @ 38 weeks per year.

Required for pre-school and recommended for all children

Early Education Funding does not include meals, snacks, Care, Enrichment or I.T. packages.
At The Play Den, we go above and beyond to provide wonderful activities and outings for your child and to keep you informed of your child’s time with us. To do so, we make small charges to cover these costs. Overleaf is a price list of our additional charges.
If you wish to opt out of any of our additional services, please discuss this with us at your show around visit.

Meal prices
Breakfast (starts 7.45am and ends 8.15am) — £1.60
A variety of cereals, toast, crumpets, fruits & yoghurts
Two-course hot lunch * (12 noon) — £3.50
Professionally cooked off site – refer to our menu
Two-course low-tea * (4.15pm) — £2.95
A variety of soups, sandwiches, beans, noodles, savory rice, muffins, fruits & yoghurts.
Snack (10.30am & 2.30pm) — £0.60
A variety of fruits, vegetables, dips, cheese, milk and milk alternatives
*You can elect to provide a healthy cold nut-free packed lunch, subject to our food safe policy.
Care package
Formula milk (under 1), nappies, wipes, nappy sacks, disposal, tissues, wipes, flannels, a named toothbrush, toothpaste, a named water bottle, puddle suits, aprons, sleep mats, bedding, laundry costs, spare clothing & wellingtons, sun cream and Calpol (to control febrile convulsions).
Under 2 — £3 per day
2-3 — £2 per day
3-4 — £1 per day
Enrichment package
Weekly dance & movement classes, baking & cooking ingredients, food tasting, seeds and growing, multi-cultural celebrations, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Birthday cake, Easter, Christmas, garden parties, outings to the library, shops and park (incurring additional staff costs), open sessions, Graduation and birthday & Christmas gifts. — £1 per day
*specific outings e.g. to a farm, pantomime or wildlife parks will incur additional costs
I.T. Package
Access to Tapestry – our online journal for cascading information, daily activities, planning, newsletters and essential updates. We also record care, meal & accident information as well as details of your child’s development including Wow! moments, next steps and termly learning stories. — £1.50 per day
